Categories: Cosmic & Kundalini Energy
May the blessings of the Triple Gem be with you all!
Today, through our spiritual teachings, I wish to explore a profound topic with all of you: the truth that anyone can access what is known as universal energy or Kundalini energy. I feel it is important to clarify this, because a shadow of doubt has fallen over our modern society. Many people have come to believe that such things do not exist.
We live in a time where people ask, “Where is this universal energy? Where is this, Kundalini?” The reason for this skepticism is the decline of the spiritual age, a loss of connection to our inner lives.
Many no longer trusts in spirituality. They may have heard stories about meditation and spiritual development, but without practical, first-hand experience, these concepts remain abstract. As a result, there is a tendency to dismiss or attack these ideas, and this disbelief has become common in recent times.
It prevents people from even beginning to seek the profound peace and power that lies within. However, with the teachings we have been sharing, we see a beautiful change. People from all walks of life, across all ages, professions, and educational backgrounds are turning towards this spiritual path. They are coming together without any division based on religion, race, caste, or color. This is a truth you know well.

Breaking the Barriers of Religion and Race
I was inspired to discuss this because I have seen how people build walls around themselves with mistaken beliefs. Some think, “I am Catholic, so I cannot awaken Kundalini energy or access universal energy. I cannot practice meditation.” They hold a firm belief that these practices are not for them because they belong to another religion.
I have seen this same confusion among our Muslim and Hindu brothers and sisters, and among people of different ethnicities, such as the Tamil community. They have become entangled in these limiting ideas.
This is why I must state this clearly. People from various religious backgrounds get caught in this trap, believing, “I cannot attain this energy; these things are not for me.” They convince themselves they have no right to the gifts of nature, embedding this week, unfortunate idea in their minds. To all who feel this way, I want to say: such a barrier does not exist. This path is open to a person of any race and any religion.
Many Catholic individuals practice meditation with us and know from their own experience that these energies are accessible to all. Likewise, people from Muslim, Tamil, and Hindu backgrounds are discovering that they, too, can develop themselves through meditation, without any issue. We share these teachings without any discrimination of race, religion, or caste.

Transcending the Excuses of Daily Life: Age, Work, and Family
Beyond religion, people confine themselves with other limitations. Someone might think, “I have a job, and because of my work, I can’t do these things. I cannot receive this energy. I am a very busy person.” This becomes their mental block. Another person, perhaps a student at a university or school, might think, “I am focused on my education, so I can’t practice meditation.” These are weak thoughts that hold them back.
Then there are those who say, “I am married. I have children and a family life. Therefore, I won’t receive these benefits, and I can’t continue this practice consistently.” This is another self-imposed mental state. The limitations people create are endless and have no basis in age.
Some older individuals think, “I am too old now. I can barely walk.” At the other end, some young people foolishly think, “We are still young. We have plenty of time for this later. We can seek this when we are old.” These are immature, weak thoughts.
People trap themselves with these varied ideas, believing they cannot attain this power. But what are universal energy and Kundalini energy? They are simply words used to describe a natural energy that exists within the fabric of existence. As you know from exploring these teachings, this energy can be accessed by developing a practice known as Samatha Bhavana, or tranquility meditation.
As I have said before, anyone of any age can meditate. The only real problem is the self-imposed barriers we create in our minds.

The Real Obstacle: Your Own Mind
This energy is available to anyone. There are no distinctions of race, caste, or social standing. Imagine even an indigenous person from a tribe, like the Native American Indians; they too can attain this. People all over the world have used various methods to develop tranquility meditation, to draw in the universal energy, and to awaken the Kundalini force within. They have discovered many different techniques.
As I have mentioned in previous discussions on this topic, there are numerous methods in the world, some are very difficult and arduous, while others are quite simple. The method we teach is an easy one. It is a practical path that anyone can follow, and as you know from your own experience, these methods are very accessible.
The reason I brought up those earlier points about self-limiting beliefs is to highlight a critical truth. Those very thoughts become your frame, your obstacle. They become your own personal Mara (your inner tempter) preventing you from engaging in meditation and spiritual practice. These thoughts become the primary barrier that stops you from awakening the universal energy and Kundalini energy that lies dormant within.
Someone may feel a desire to meditate but thinks, “I am too busy, I have no time, so this energy will probably never come to me.” Please, do not hold such a mindset. If you set aside even a small amount of time to practice meditation, these changes will inevitably happen for you.
A Path of Redemption: Is Spiritual Energy for the ‘Imperfect’?
There is another important point I have spoken of before. Some people believe they are disqualified because of past mistakes. They may be involved with drugs or alcohol, or engage in actions that break the five precepts. Perhaps they have even killed someone, worked as a prostitute, or sold illicit substances. They might be addicted to these things or have other flaws.
These individuals also create a frame for themselves, thinking, “I can’t attain this energy because I do these things.” From our teachings, you can understand that this is not a problem or an obstacle.
In this article, I state this with certainty: do not think this way. Do not put such a limit or frame on yourself. If you listen to these teachings and begin the practical work from the start, following the guidance, you too will receive these benefits. This is why I titled this teaching with the message that anyone can obtain universal energy and Kundalini energy. Otherwise, people fall into a helpless state, into delusion and sorrow, thinking, “Oh, I can’t get something like this, I don’t have enough good merit (pin).” Do not even start to think like that.

Your Invitation from the Universe
The moment you create that frame, that limitation, you confine yourself to a certain place. You become trapped. That very thought becomes your Mara. You don’t need an external demon from an unseen world; you make your own thoughts your obstacle, your Mara. This is why the Buddha taught that the tempter resides within the mind itself.
Once you understand this point, anyone can meditate. Anyone can engage in Samatha Bhavana (tranquility meditation). Anyone can practice mindfulness, which is a form of Vipassana (insight meditation), maintaining awareness for all 24 hours of the day. Anyone has the right to practice pure chanting. Nature and the universe have given you the right to engage in these meditative and spiritual activities.
There is no cosmic law or rule that forbids it. The universe and nature give these gifts to those who engage in the practice. So please, understand this point. Trust yourself. Trust your mind, your heart, and begin to develop your spiritual strength. In doing so, you will receive all of this. Never confine yourself within these limitations.
An Open Invitation to the Skeptic
Be wary of those who try to discourage you, who say these things don’t exist. They are the ones who will try to pull you away from this path. Avoid such cynical people. Refrain from engaging in conversations with them about these topics. Quietly continue with your own work.
Even these skeptics can attain this energy. We have met many such people. They start out insisting none of this is real, but then they come to believe. Sometimes, belief doesn’t come first. Some people start practicing just to see what happens, out of curiosity. And when they practice, even casually, they eventually begin to feel and understand it for themselves. This is the nature of direct experience, what in Buddhism is called Sanditthika, visible and verifiable here and now.
When they begin to feel and understand, they naturally commit to meditation, and their faith grows. We have seen many people develop their spiritual strength this way.
So, we should have compassion for them too. If someone says these things don’t exist, you can tell them they don’t have to believe or disbelieve. To those who are stuck in wrong views, I offer an invitation.
For those who have filled their heads with the idea that universal energy, Kundalini energy, unseen worlds, the third eye, Samatha, and Vipassana are all nonsense, I invite you: please, stay in your view that they don’t exist. At the same time, don’t try to think they do exist. Just be neutral and try these practices. Just do them and see what happens. Then, you will understand for yourself what takes place. In this way, even they can begin to understand this through direct experience. They, too, can obtain these gifts.

Conclusion: The Path Is Open to You
From these points, I hope you can see and grasp that anyone in this world (without distinction of color, race, or religion) can attain this universal energy and Kundalini energy. Young, old, and everyone in between can achieve this. The only reason it cannot be attained is because of the veil of thoughts one puts over one’s own mind. When you cover yourself with various thoughts, wrong views, and mental frames, there is no reason to engage in meditation.
Otherwise, the universal energy and Kundalini energy that exist in the cosmos are common to all and can be obtained by anyone.
Furthermore, it is through doing this practice that people gradually begin to heal and develop themselves (a truth) I constantly repeat. The benefits will start to come. You will be able to know for yourself the directly verifiable nature, the Sanditthika quality, of this path through your own practice.
I have shared these matters because they are instrumental in helping you develop your own spiritual energies. With that, I conclude this brief teaching on the theme that anyone can obtain universal energy and Kundalini energy.
