Categories: Third Eye: Practical Meditation
May the blessings of the Triple Gem be with you all!
Today, through our spiritual teachings, I will guide you through a unique and deeply practical topic. As you read the title, you may already sense that this is not just theory, but a hands-on spiritual exercise. Before we begin, it’s important to address who might be reading this. Some of you may have already engaged in our practical meditation programs, yet have not fully opened what is known as the ‘Third Eye‘. This ‘Third Eye’, or what we call dibba cakkhu in the Pali language, refers to the ‘divine eye‘ or purified clairvoyant vision. It is the inner sight that allows one to perceive realities beyond the physical senses.
If your third eye meditation practice is still developing, some of what you read might seem confusing. However, for those who have practiced and have come to understand the nature of mind and body, this will feel like a natural extension of your journey. For newcomers, I kindly ask that you read this entire article with an open and neutral mind. a state we call upekkha, or equanimity. After reading, I encourage you to explore our foundational teachings from the beginning to build the practical groundwork for this experience.
This guide is a spiritual successor to our previous exploration of the Ruwanwelisaya stupa, where many of you shared your profound experiences. Today, we will use that same awakened inner vision to undertake a new journey: a spiritual exploration inside the great Sigiriya rock fortress. While this journey can reveal many historical secrets, I will not unveil everything here. My aim is to provide just enough guidance for you to train your third eye meditation and experience this for yourself. Please grasp the essence of this teaching and prepare to put it into practice.

Preparing for the Journey: The Meditation and the Power of Intention
To begin this spiritual journey, find a comfortable meditation posture, just as you always do. Settle in, and for a few moments, bring your attention to the concept of the vast, open sky (Sky Meditation). Let your mind expand into this boundlessness, allowing it to become calm, centered, and unified. Rest in this state until you feel the familiar sense of deep peace and ease that arises in your practice.
Once your mind is settled, you will set a powerful intention, a practice known in Buddhism as adhiṭṭhāna. This is more than a simple wish; it is a resolute determination that directs the energy of your mind. Following the method we used for the Ruwanwelisaya journey, bring a clear image of the Sigiriya rock fortress into your mind’s eye. Then, make this threefold resolution:
- ‘May I be able to enter inside the Sigiriya rock.’
- ‘May I be able to enter inside the Sigiriya rock.’
- ‘May I be able to enter inside the Sigiriya rock.’
Hold this intention with clarity and conviction. For some, the experience may begin instantly. For others, it may require patience. Trust the process.
The Astral Ascent: Traveling with the Mind-Made Body
Once your intention is firmly established, you may begin to see Sigiriya rock clearly in your mind. Now, you will travel there using your Manokāya, which translates to the ‘mind-made body’. This is also known in Western traditions as the astral body. Through the power of your third eye meditation, you will rise up into the sky and journey towards the Sigiriya Rock. This movement should feel effortless and natural, almost automatic. Allow yourself to arrive there spontaneously.
Come to a hover directly above the summit of the great Sigiriya Rock. From this vantage point, you must navigate to a specific location: the eastern side of the summit. As I mentioned in our previous teachings, these words of intention act like passwords that unlock the next stage of the journey. Make the clear resolution: ‘May I arrive at the eastern side of the summit.‘ This specific command will guide your mind-made body to the correct starting point.

Seeking Permission and Opening the Hidden Door of Sigiriya Rock
As you arrive on the eastern side of the summit, a doorway may appear before you, seeming to open directly into the Sigiriya Rock, revealing a staircase leading down. For some, this entrance will be guarded by two beings of great presence and authority. You may see them, or you may not.
However, it is possible that even after making the intention, the door does not open. If you find the way barred, it may be due to a subtle karmic obstruction. This often relates to having held disrespectful thoughts or having made disparaging remarks, perhaps unknowingly, about the ancient heritage of Sri Lanka. the ancestral culture known as the Hela. The universe is aware of such actions, and they can create a barrier to accessing these sacred spaces.
The Key to Entry: The Sacred Act of Forgiveness
If the door remains closed, there is a profound and necessary step to take: you must ask for forgiveness. This is the key. With a sincere heart, formulate this apology in your own words, directing it to the collective consciousness of the land. You might think or say:
‘If I have, in this life or any other, insulted, ridiculed, or in any way disrespected the ancient kings, the ancestors, or the true people of the Hela lineage (the Sinhala kings and people of noble blood) I ask for forgiveness for all these faults. For the sake of this sacred island of Hela, may I be forgiven.‘
Repeat this apology two or three times, allowing the feeling of remorse and respect to be genuine. After sincerely asking for forgiveness from all the ancient kings and ancestors, it is also vital to share the merits of your practice. Radiate the positive energy, or puñña, from your meditation and good deeds to all the great kings of Sri Lanka, whose histories you can read in chronicles like the Mahavamsa, and to every being who has dedicated their life to this land. After this act of healing and reconciliation, once again make the threefold intention: ‘May the door on Sigiriya’s summit open for me.‘
Through this sincere process, the door will open, even for someone whose past lives have no direct connection to this lineage. The act of asking for forgiveness is the true key.

Descending into Mystery: The Inner Chambers and the Preserved Body
Once the door opens, do not be afraid of the guardians you may see. The open door is your permission to enter. Proceed down the stone staircase. As you descend deeper into the Sigiriya Rock, you will notice chambers opening up on either side. These are not rough caves, but appear to be luxurious rooms, complete with beds and furnishings from that ancient era, designed for comfort and repose.
Continue your descent, and you will eventually reach a very special location. Here, you will find a preserved body, or dēhaya, resting in a beautifully constructed chamber. This room is exquisitely made, adorned with what appear to be crystals (paliňgu) and other precious materials. I will not describe it in great detail, as this is for you to witness yourself. The body itself is adorned with many ornaments and is preserved in a remarkable state, exactly as it was long ago. To witness this requires a strong and stable mind, which your third eye meditation practice will have cultivated.
The Sleeper and the Awakened One: A Mystical Connection Across Time
As you gaze upon this preserved body, it is crucial that you do not attempt to awaken it. I will offer you a hint: the person to whom this body belongs has already been reborn and is alive in the world today. This individual is alive and is currently engaged in a great spiritual service for humanity. Your task is not to find this person, but to assist them spiritually.
From your place of deep meditation, send a ray of pure mental energy (a citta kirana) to the body with the thought, ‘May you be well.‘ Then, form this powerful intention, repeating it several times, even ten times if you wish:
‘May my mental energy merge with that of the rightful owner of this body, wherever they may be. May all the spiritual powers, all the psychic abilities, and all the profound knowledge that they possessed in that ancient lifetime be fully reawakened within them now.‘
As you do this, you may perceive the energy leaving the body and traveling upward, but do not try to follow it or identify its destination. Simply perform the act of transmission. You may also notice other guardians standing watch around this body. I will not describe their appearance; this is part of your own discovery. When you feel your work is complete, offer your respects and continue your journey.
Ancient Technology: Flying Machines and a Throne of Stargates
After leaving the chamber of the preserved body, continue to descend. Further down to the Sigiriya Rock, you may discover two or three flying craft, or yāna. I will not say whose they are or what they look like, as this is for you to see. It is also possible that some things will remain hidden from your perception. The universe conceals certain realities for specific reasons.
Beyond this area, you will find another extraordinary chamber containing a very peculiar chair, or throne. This is another key discovery on your journey.

The Traveler’s Throne: A Gateway to Mars, Nagas, and the Universe
This throne is a device of immense power. Access to it may be restricted. If you have a karmic connection to the ancient Hela lineage, you may be granted permission to sit in it. To find out, make this clear intention: ‘If I belong to the Hela lineage and history, may I be granted permission to sit in this chair.‘
If you are given leave and you sit down, the chair will begin to rotate, opening gateways to different destinations
- To the right: It creates a portal to the planet Mars, which our ancestors knew as Aṅgaharu Lōka.
- Backward: It opens a path to travel outside of our solar system, into the vastness of the wider universe.
- To the left: It connects to the realm of the Nagas (Nāga Lōka) and various celestial worlds (Divya Lōka), part of the 31 planes of existence in Buddhist cosmology. It can also connect to any place in the universe where cosmic energy is concentrated.
This is a form of ancient technology, born from advanced spiritual science and a deep understanding of mind and nature. It was created by our ancestors, great leaders who developed their minds through meditation, achieving these feats without the destruction that marks modern technology. If you are fortunate enough to sit in the chair, you have permission to explore these worlds. You can travel through a portal and return through the same door.
The Return Journey: Integrating the Experience
There is much more to see within Sigiriya, including a strange kind of elevator (sōpānayak), but I will not lengthen this article by describing everything. Explore what you can, and when you feel your journey is complete, you can return.
To exit, you can either ascend the same staircase you came down or, using the power of your mind-made body, pass directly out through the Sigiriya Rock. Travel with your Manokāya back to your home, to the place where your physical body is meditating. Gently merge back with your body and bring your third eye meditation to a peaceful conclusion.
A Note for the Curious Mind: Why Some Doors Remain Closed
Now, I wish to speak to those who may read this with a skeptical mind. Some may pose a ‘foolish’ question: ‘If you have these spiritual powers and know all this, why don’t you just physically open Sigiriya and show it to everyone?‘ People who ask such things lack practical understanding. To them, I offer an analogy: consider Area 51 in the United States. Why does it exist? No one knows for sure, but everyone understands it holds secrets, perhaps related to alien technology, military projects, or other hidden matters. America could easily open it to the public, but it doesn’t. There are profound reasons for this secrecy.
In the same way, some things in the universe must be revealed at the proper time, while other things must remain hidden forever. Revealing certain historical truths could cause more harm than good. Revealing others can bring great benefit. So, to those who would present foolish arguments against these teachings, I say this: first, go and convince the U.S. government to reveal all the secrets of Area 51. The world operates with layers of hidden knowledge. Our comments are open for anyone to express their views freely, but this truth remains.
Conclusion: The Power of Practice and a Final Invitation
This teaching has been a guide for a journey using the Manokāya, the mind-made body, through the portal of the third eye meditation. This practice is exclusively for those who are spiritually developed through practical application. To those who might insult or criticize these words, I can only say that such reactions come from a lack of practice and a place of ignorance. Anything of value must be experienced practically.
I often receive questions from people who have not meditated or developed themselves but have only gathered intellectual knowledge from books and historical debates. I do not engage with these questions, as it is a waste of time. My passion and help are reserved for those who sincerely undertake the practices I teach and ask questions from their direct experience. Those are the people I am here to assist. Please do not send me links or questions from other channels; I am here to share the complete knowledge and experiences I have, so that you too can have them.
With dedicated practice, it is even possible that one day your mind could become so powerful that you could make this journey not just with the mind-made body, but with your actual physical body, levitating and passing through Sigiriya Rock, just as the ancient stories tell. As a final thought, if any of you are artists and you see these things on your journey (the chambers of Ruwanwelisaya or Sigiriya) I invite you to draw what you see.
