This page explains how to delete your Adyathmika Bhikshun meditation app account and everything stored with it. You do not need the app installed to make the request.
Delete from inside the app
This is immediate and needs no approval from us:
- Open the Adyathmika Bhikshun app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Confirm when asked.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently erases all of the following:
- your account itself, including your email address and login credentials;
- every meditation session, along with its check-in values and notes;
- every voice reflection you recorded;
- your practice plan, reminders and saved places; and
- your app settings and preferences.
There is no recovery once this is done. If you want to keep anything, save it before you delete.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in or no longer have the app installed, email [email protected] from the email address on the account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify the request, delete the account and all associated data within 30 days, and confirm by email when it is done.
What we keep afterwards
Nothing that identifies you is kept once deletion completes. Residual copies may persist briefly in encrypted database backups, which are rotated out within 30 days, after which they are gone as well.
